Camper on Board started!

Day 1

From 7 hours on the road … Slovakia is behind us. Even Egr arranged professionally by Szymon. The journey plan is to reach Sarajevo – Bosnia. Tomorrow is snow if everything goes with the plan. Team checked, truly travel and of course Freeride under the skin.
This road trip is the realization of the dream of a group of people who dared.

Of course, apart from taking the challenge of “the road”, they also outweighed the scant other favors of the present. They gave up … earned, put down, believed and made a decision. They spent their time on this journey. Progres has the honor of associating people involved, enthusiasts, dreamers … freeriders.
…. this is our plan.

Day 2

After almost 18h we arrived to Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina. The road is perfectly fine. No excesses. Ending -1 ° C and rain with snow. However, Krzychu managed safely with the pass, both up and down. We have contacted our previously agreed Kemal guide, we are waiting for info regarding the access road to Bjelaśnica.

From #Sarajevo we got to # Bjeleśnica. There was a driveway at 1,250 meters above sea level, campers from #CarGO did not have any problems (without diminishing the drivers).
Bad weather. Rain with snow, fog above 1,800 masl harsh. A lot of fun and laughter. The wind, unfortunately, caused the closure
part of the resort. The rage was not because hard covered with 5cm fresh. Optimism adds the fact of further rainfall, which foretell a good tomorrow and add emotion during the time in the camper. We are camping on the pass, putting thickly #LyoFood entering as it should. 50m from us an old, abandoned hotel from the Olympics in 1984.

Day 3

At night -10 ° C in a motorhome + 20 ° C.
Full comfort. Oatmeianka from Ania and we are going to street pictures because at 9:30 a meeting with a guide and splitboard. Wiktor packs the drone. We make thermos tea …. so you can start the day.

Ski jumps, industrial splitboard, Olympic recordings, whole piece. Boomm … drone on the tree. The previous shots make us nose, literally, we look at the top of a thirty-meter tree. Such stories. After 1/3 of the height, unfortunately, Emil goes down. He’s really cold and he lacks equipment. Huge tree, fragile branches and high. The volume of the trunk is big enough to make it difficult. The riddle is still not solved but we are steaming intensively from ideas.

Day 4

The dynamics are increasing. The impression is that days have many more hours than in reality.
Good split round.

The potential of the place, unfortunately, fired much above snow conditions. Above the forest line, everything on harszle. Betons, gypsums and coats …. A two-thousander, conquered, convention for connoisseurs.
Seals are well-worn, slides less. Definitely PEOPLE, Mountains, Freeride. Balkans: friendly, mountainous and tasty. He confirmed it

More than 6h round from 1500 mnpm from “camper base – Progres” on Istočny Vrh 2445 mnpm – Durmitor.
Above 2,200 meters above sea level, the wind grew stronger. 60-70 km / h which finally removed us from the peak action. Warun for skialpinists. Wider gully from the top, moderately steep 35 ° slightly iced, in some places released. Small platoau and another, this time a narrow gully with more snow, about 45 °.

Cosmic things happen on board our vehicles. Another seat that we left.

Cursed Mountains translating to Polish.
At 7:00, two off-road vehicles arrived, ordered by Asia from Poland.
We would not have had a chance to get campers to the place where the split started. The most beautiful valley in Montenegro. Aim, peak 2450 meters above sea level. Conquered. The whole action took almost 7h excluding 4×4 time.
Blue, soft snow, and a slight wind appeared only half an hour before the summit. The facades us zjarało on bronze / burgundy. A few critical moments on the approach. The pleasant descent, however, the light snow took the sun a bit and let it go. There were holes in the overhangs and lost skis. Smile, joy and fatigue. Moments of hesitation and euphoria. Beautiful turn and speed down.

Day 9

CAMPER ON BOARD
We are going to #Serbia
Yesterday’s top action.
At an altitude of about 2,400 m above sea level, i.e. … already greeted the goose, our guide loses both skis.
One move and … he came out to get back to the most difficult moment of his approach, he walked off the shoe, we all went that way. Drifted snow, service and hard. A fault was displayed on both sides. We all went quietly and safely. The guide returned to the place where the skis were waiting for him. During clasping, in a very narrow place on the ridge before the summit, something did not touch and both of them, like catapults, gave themselves careless speeds straight into the abyss of the Gully of the Cursed Mountains.

Steep and snow deposit.
Shortening the history, ponda 1.5h of thinking, planning and rescue action, completed safely for everyone and successful reclamation of both skis. Then an idea for a descent. Overhangs, holes under them, steep drop in … but next time.

The project reaches the final countdown and will go down in history soon.
Heads full of questions. The soul is light. More awareness. A bit of life wisdom. Quite a lot of freeride, unappreciated places. Splitboard with people who have devoted time, chose separation, gave up … to feel new, unknown, difficult, dangerous, euphoric.
To be in the mountains, to be part of such a team is an honor and happiness. Joint decisions, solutions; joint fatigue. Outstanding ideas. Camper on Board is for freedom, mobility, changeability, joy. Just like in the mountains. Freeride is a phenomenon that covers much larger areas of our lives. It is a passion for us. It is the smell of morning coffee for us. It is fatigue for us, often a disappointment, pride, a childish quintessence of happiness that continues. Because my wife should be faked …
