During the first load with our local guide we made a snow profile and together we evaluated it. Stable conditions. Not forgetting the ABC and ABS avalanche backpacks.
\nSafe return to Felix Hotel and dinner. Another day brought no change. 6 flights \/ lines of which several “knocked off”. Snow soft, compressed and very fast. There were open spaces and steep entrances in the more powerful group. Day of dreams. Putting it to safety and a stable cover … just freeride #LoveSnow.
\nThe next two days we spent on the splitboard exploration of the Carpathians, and it turned out that despite the heavily operating sun in the northern boiler we put traces in fresh snow. The icing on the cake was a rescue action, which served as a “helicopter” and pulled us to the top to give ourselves up again.
\nWe made some new destinations when it comes to flights. A total of 13 flights \/ departures on assumption 10, with no surcharge! According to maps and local premises we discovered a gorgeous northern boiler 2h from the hotel with surprisingly soft snow due to exposure and wind cover. We spent a good evening by the fire. We experienced training which I trust that directly influenced that safely, with a smile and fulfillment we all returned home.
