For the first time in the history of three days of lectures, discussions on freestyle snowboarding and the final test will be held in Poland in Krakow:]
In previous years, the judges from all over Europe (and beyond) came together in Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia, Austria ….. This time we’re hosting:]
The themes of the clinics are rapidly developing discipline which is Snowboarding. Through the prism of the world’s most important events, judges evaluate licenses FIS European Cup-level competition, and the FIS World Cup and the Olympics. Due to the upcoming 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi and the debut of the new Olympic slopestyle competition that will, at this year’s clinic training emphasis will be placed on the judges probably jibbs and jumps. Of course, halfpipe, who appeared as the first freestyle competition and the giant slalom board initiated and reached to the level of Olympic sport in 1998 in Nagano, Japan. Poland at this year’s clinic will be represented by Łukasz Ligocki, Jacek Milas, Paweł Pawluczuk, Mateusz Zadrożny, Marcin “Yamay” Kolasinski and Darek “Anioł” Engel (PROGRES SNB). All of the judges (along with absent this year Bartek Bilkiewicz) form Snowboard Polish Judges Association (http://www.sedziowiesnowboardowi.pl/), and for many years have international licenses FIS.
